Course Description:

This hot topic is an important one in today's society! This webcast will provide an overview while providing an in-depth discussion regarding cyber and internet liability, the cyber liability policy, exposures (common and not so common), sources of claims and then privacy laws.  Unauthorized entities will be discussed as well.

Continuing Education Objectives:

The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of Cyber liability policies and privacy laws.

Janet E. Smith

Janet Smith started her career in insurance 25 years ago.  She was an account manager and managing underwriter for liquor liability with Greenwich American Underwriters, Inc.  After four years of service, she moved to help start Bailey Special Risks, Inc., which focuses on professional liability, cyber liability, employment practices liability and directors & officers' liability sold exclusively to independent insurance agents for their commercial clients.  Throughout the years, she has been involved in many aspects of the company, from managing accounts to marketing an array of products.  In 2009, Janet had the opportunity to purchase BSR along with two long term associates of the company.  As the current President of BSR, she continues to market the company products, teach coverage to clients, and work with carriers to keep BSR in the forefront of knowledge.
